(President Bush proposed a $2.57 trillion budget Monday that would erase scores of programs)

Thats cool with me, the federal government is a freaking behemoth. It would be nice if our military budget could be severely cut back as well. Why can't we use our military to defend our country. That money for our military is no longer a defence budget. We have troops all over the world, Ive read that we have at least some troops in 100 countries. We have 40000 folks in Korea. We have a history of interfering in others countries internal affairs.

Besides the military, shrub should seriously cut the budgets for the Dea, the war on drugs is an abject failure. Just get rid of the federal dept of education, states should be able to have their own standards for education. Speaking of agenices I would love love love to see lose its funding is the grand ole IRS. Its amazing that we allow our government to "take" over 50% our our earnings(after prop taxes gas taxes sales taxes and on and on and on). They have a huge cash flow coming in and those idiots can't manage to spend less than they take in, not even close. Not to worry they just print(and borrow) more.

These Politicians who are screwing us over sure enjoy the great benefits of being in Washington. Once you get elected you will be the incumbent who wins 90%+ of the reelections. When you do decide its time to leave Washington, you can make a boatload of cash working as a lobbyist. Not that you really need it because your pension is sweet. Members of both paries are guilty, they vote themselves payraises.(In the middle of the night) WTF, who gave these idiots the power to vote themselves a raise???? thats just stupid. The inmates are running the assylum.
